This is a lovely winter flowerer that we wouldn’t be without. The common name Algerian Iris gives a nod to it’s preferred conditions, liking full sun, light soil, and good drainage. The evergreen foliage can look a bit tatty, but that pop of lavender-blue in the darker months ensures it hold it’s place in the garden.
